her story

Denice often wrote out the affirmation, “I have a loving trusting relationship” as a kid. It was what she wanted more than anything but had no idea how to create, as she didn’t receive those tools in her family of origin. It wasn’t until years later, when she was in a difficult marriage that she finally learned the tools to be in a loving and trusting relationship. If you relate with this, she is here to offer hope that it is possible for you to have a loving trusting relationship even if it wasn’t modeled for you in your family of origin. In addition to couples coaching, she is a Mind Body therapist and works with clients individually.

his story

Ryan used to be bad at relationships. He used to think that he just felt things less than other people. That others just had more emotion than he did. After starting his personal work he realized he did have feelings! Lots of them! And they were constantly affecting his mood and outlook. He then learned how to communicate his feelings to his partner, and he got better at relationshiping. Now he likes sharing the tips and tools he picked up along the way with other couples. If you feel like you don’t know how to connect with your partner, how to connect with yourself, or how to “step in” to the relationship, Ryan can help.

our story

We will be honest, it wasn’t always easy. We’ve been through some rough times. We needed to learn valuable tools to build a strong relationship. Slowly over time, we learned to communicate safely with each other. We learned to be self responsible for our emotions. We learned about our own and each other’s narratives which brought about deeper understanding and compassion for ourselves and to each other.

With these tools, and with consistent support, we went from knowing whether or not our marriage could make it to creating strong secure attachment and a loving trusting relationship. And now we want to share this with you.
